Ive been wanting to work with t. montium for quite some time now, and when I seen Ataraxias little babies in person this summer I went over the edge! Seen these two at the local show and jumped on them quickly since there was only one female. Sadly I could not take the rest of the males there who were all in pretty good condition as well. But enough rambling... Heres a few quick ones. Once they're cleaned up and out of quarantine I will get some nice ones with the dslr

Lol thanks man. Yeah, I couldnt help it there is no cb available and these were in much better condition than any wc i have seen.. And they're uber cool chams so why not! Hopefully I can make a trade for some unrelated babies somewhere down the line given all goes well.

All male t. montium have horns, females do not. t. cristatus and t quadricornis also have sails. But no t. cristatus have horns though, and only male quads have horns. It was likely t. montium you seen given the recent shipments.

So far so good with these two, I think they would stay in the shower all day if they could! Quick few of the male in there.. The female is extremely shy, but i think she'll get over it eventually. Got her to take a small super from my hand first thing this morning

Cant wait to see these fully acclimated.......their spots get so intense.
My male drank for a good hour when I got them....female wont drink n front of me....but she does since shes well hydrated so better then not drinking at all.....

lol, yes he is! Got a nice pic of the female this morning, ill post it shortly.. Both were surprisingly well hydrated when I picked them up and they both dont seem to mind drinking in front of me so far.
