Hi everyone, My name is Sandra and I'm new here. I have had Jacksons and bred them for a while ,i had a mellers chameleon for a long time too and now have 3 Veils. I know the differences ,i live to learn and have to say i am in love with my veils!!! Maybe because my are affectionate like my meller "yoshi" was . I have to say i have a huge fault and that's the urge to buy veils that are sick. I recently purchased a sad looking gravid female who has bad mbd because I just couldn't take how they had her.I purchased her from petco and am trying to rehabilitate her but i think she's far far gone. She's obese and has fractures, soft lower jaw ,and is missing a few nails
They say she's a veil but has a blue color with no bands like a Nosy Be. She is so over weight her casque is expanded. My other 2 chameleons had the opposite problem, when i bought them they had upper repertory problems and the start of mbd and were under weight but are now looking good. One males eyes are not as bulging as i would like but he drinks a lot of water that might just be his look they all have slightly different looks to them. I have those 2 for over a year now . I would love to breed my female when she's better after this clutch with one of my handsome males but I just hope she gets better. I might need to take her in the next couple weeks to the vet if she doesn't lay. Now for me...i am into photography and creating and painting and nursing things and or getting help for things in need.Thats where you all come in. I'm more of a 3d type of person and less experienced at the forum blog thing so bare with me. I love to learn and think this is a great site for anyone with chams like me. So Hello, and Thank You!
