I'm looking to get another Chameleon but I don't know what one!

Well, what sort of body type and "embellishments" do you like? What is the climate in your house like? For example, if your house tends to be dry most of the year due to heating or AC in summer a montane species might be a lot more work. How much space do you have for a cage? Bigger is better for many species.

Well the biggest cage I'd be able to fit would be a 4 foot high, 2 feet wide, and 16.5 inches deep. The body type doesn't really bother me, I just want something different. Not like a Veiled.

Veileds are fun, not to mention stunning! All of my Veileds have 10X the personality of my Panthers, and are a joy to have around! The fun of having multiple chams is the contrast in their personalities!

I felt the same way about Veiled Chams, but now I have one and I am glad I do! He is a total contrast to my panther chameleon (rip).

They can be quite beautiful, too!

ColeCham, I know people lump Veiled and Panthers together, but they are different. Their care is very, very similar though (based on what I've read here). That's an advantage because it's easier if everyone needs the same humidity and temperature range.

What about a fischers chameleon. very interesting and ive heard they are real characters. The rostral nose looks almost like a mini parson. Of course almost all of these are wc.

It's because I live in Canada, I don't have a huge variety of choice. Is it safe to import CH chams?

What about graceful chams? LLL is selling them and they are quite inexpensive, I'm wondering why I never hear of anyone having one of those on these boards.

yea that's the only problem I'm in Canada... But I'm seriously considering something like a fischer or jackson, because I was something that's a little different that I can find CH

Gracefuls were commonly bought by pet shops and didn't usually survive. They are fairly fussy to acclimate most likely because they are relatively inexpensive, wc, stressed, heavily parasitized, and shy. They also don't have the fancy horns, rostrals, colors, that other species do so few breeders work with them. I think to many hobbyists they look a bit plain compared to a panther, jax, or veiled.
