My little 3.5 month panther male is sitting lower in his cage than usual. he usually sits right up at top under the uvb (reptisun5.0) and his eye is swollen and he keeps bulging it out awkward. help meeeee

Relax. This might be a problem or it might be nothing. Sometimes they just want to sit somewhere else. Mine usually go lower in the cage at night for sleeping. They also sometimes bulge out their eyes. Usually when I am misting them. I think it's a way to clean them out. He may have something in his eye. Try a long misting or a shower to give the water time to help clean out his eyes.

He just went to sleep and his eyes seemed to be the same size. I may just be a over worrying dad haha we will see in the morning

could you post a picture? as already stated it is probably nothing to worry about.
although, i do have a few questions for you.
Is his eyes shut while in the middle of the cage or is his turret just bulging "like when he does eye maintenance"?
CFL or florescent? how old are the bulbs?
supplements & gut load used?

I will post pic in the morning. His eye shuts for a period of time and bulges to the side, not strait out.

I use cal without d3 every other feeding and mutivitamins and cal with d3 twice a month
And I gutload with collardd greens and oranges and high calcium cricket diet
I gave him a pretty big mantis yesterday.. idk if that's anything lol

mist 3 or more times a day except i was at school all of today and this problem occured when i first misted him when i got home
he shed a few days ago
avg humidity is 60-70%

I am not 100% clear on your info, but it kind of sounds like he does it when you mist him? If he is doing what I think you are trying to explain he is cleaning his eye out, which is normal and healthy for a chameleon to do.

I see him wen he usually does it and he opens it in between closing and bulging it, today it was always closed unless a blew a little air at it and it seemed swollen and he would bulge it out continuously.

I Have a male blue bar ambilobe that had the same eye bulge tendecies. He likes to close his eyes and periodically bulge one side then the other...
I can't see any physical problems that he's having so I assumed this was something they did naturally... Am I mistaken?

Nope! not mistaken, probly just a different cleaning method. he woke up today and was just fine, both eyes open and ate a cricket right away lol
sorry for the scare folks!
