If you won the Lottery.....

Malicious

Lets say you were to win the Lottery. The lump sum amount landed you a free and clear 25 million cash. What would you do with the money?? Buy a new car? A new home? Donate it to Malicious??:D What would you do with all that loot!?!?!?

I would do the following:

1. Buy a new home, near the beach in southern California. Some where near Malibu. A new BMW, and a new truck.

2. Buy a vacation home in Florida, on a lake, with a boat house and, a new Super Air Natuique wakebaord boat.:)

3. Give 5 million to each of my parents (thier devorced)

4. Build the most rediculious reptile habatat, housing every species I could find, and have one of you Sr. members help me run it! :D

5. Donate 1 million dollars to ChamEO, so Elisa can continue her lovely organization.

6. Buy every Forum member a Visa gift card for $1000

7. Donate to a few charities, Cancer Foundation, Disabled people charities...etc

8. Build my dog "Harley" a new dog house.;)

I think that will do for now.:)

I envision a house with a large courtyard, big enough for full-sized trees, but screened over the top so birds/raccoons etc. couldn't get at all the lizards I'd put in it. Definitely money to my parents and in-laws (all retired, and the Snuffy's Malt Shoppe retirement package was not exactly generous). Travel to Madagascar, New Zealand, Iceland and the Scandanavian countries. The Visa gift card's a good idea; second me on that. Invest $2.5 million, $2.5 million in the bank, and give the rest to charity.

Pay off all loans, debts, expenses, etc.

Self Publish my novels and distribute world wide

Put 1/3 of the money into some sort of investment

Open a fish and reptile rescue center

Custom build a HUGE fish tank for a pair of sharks

Use the money to spread the word against bullying (not just between kids, but to promote awarness of bullying in the household, workplace, etc)

Whatever is left over I'll use to put myself through school.

Lotto Win?

Let's run down the list:

1) No more debt (there's not much there, but any is just a nag on your wallet)

2) Nice big house.

3) A couple of cars (need a new ride hardcore)

4) Show some love (parents, sibs, the like)

5) FINISH getting set up for a Cham (It's been a journey)

6) Slap that cash in a shoebox and hide it. :D

Jay the problem is how can I win?? I never play. I am one of those "don't ever win people". I am not really sure what I would do with the money , I would give away to friends and family a pretty fair share, spend mega bucks traveleing, I like the giving a million to Elisa for ChamEO, I would enjoy doing that. The rest after trust funds for my two grandsons, would go to chairty.

Why, that doesn't matter! According to the e-mails I get, I'm winning big in various UK and EU lotteries (I live in Michigan) every few days! (And if that weren't enough to set me up financially forever, there are all those nice widows of dictators just waiting to pour money into my account.)

I'll bite, this is something I am sure everyone fantasizes about at least once.

1. House. Beach for a front yard, redwoods for a backyard. Move my family and friends close as well.

2. Computers and Computer parts. Lots of them.

3. Home Theater

4. Dogs. I would probably explore other chameleon species as well.

5. Donate to causes I believe in.

Silly game to play, but I think it's healthy to daydream sometimes.

Since statistically none of us will ever win, there is a silver lining. A lot of the Lottery winners go bankrupt.

1. buy every chameleon I want. For example eisentrauti:D (african authorities like my money) As well all Naultinus and other beautiful but too expensive animals
2. bigger house
3. giant greenhouse
4. some nice cars, Audi R8, some Jaguars and Maseratis
5. donate something

and many other things

5. Donate 1 million dollars to ChamEO, so Elisa can continue her lovely organization.

Yay!!!! That would be SOOOOO cool! If this goes well, I want to have ChamEO grant programs for scientific research and studies (all things chameleon) affiliated with Universities. That's one of my dreams. It would take donations like that to make a difference.

Thanks for thinking of ChamEO!

I would never win because you've got to play first but IF I had lots of money I would donate it all to various animal charities.

First thing I would do is travel. I have never been on a plane before and I turn thirty in July...cross your fingers for me:D I would spend alot of time in the tropical forests of south america then come back to Montreal to build my dream home. I wont get into the animals I would care for if I was a milllionaire!
Its nice to dream, isnt it?:)

I'd buy a distillery and a spare liver..... I'd buy an Aston Martin and a vintage Mercedes 300sl gullwing coupe... I'd set aside 5 million for charities , where the proceeds of the initial investment would be distributed each year..... I'd buy a cottage on a northern lake where power boats are banned.... and I'd buy everyone on this forum a drink.

Atta boy, spoil thee old liver, I'll take a Captain&Coke....make it a double...I'm not drivin..

Something missing

Nobody wanting to hire a servant or two to keep cages clean? The last thing I'd want to do as a multi millionare is clean chameleon cages.

I'd set myself up for life with some low risk investments, then set aside big bucks for each of my children and future grandkids (but not tell them about it or give it to them until they're each 25).

I would pay off my school loans, make sure me and mine had enough (say, 5 mil), then spend the rest helping people who need it (like people who are mentally/phisically challenged [not of their own accord] that are truly in need).

(like people who are mentally/phisically challenged [not of their own accord]

LOL wtf? as opposed to?....:D

Id do my bucket list, invest for the kids/wifes future and die happy without concern.

as opposed to people who are that way because they did something stupid like drunk driving and stupid stunts....etc. I have this thing about taking responsibility for your own actions.

I dont think anyone is mentally handicapped because they did something stupid.
Parapalegic, quadrapalegic, a vegetable or dead yes.
In anycase, if they are brain damaged from a stupid stunt, its a bit late for them to be
taking responsibility full stop.
I wonder how many brain damaged darwin candidates you meet anyway.
A Mental Handicap is not a choice or result of a choice in most cases.
Nobody is mentally handicapped of their own accord.
"Accord' implies wilful intent, Not accident, regardless of circumstance.

Have Fun with your millions. :)
