Identifying plant

I am visiting my parents in Houston and found this growing in their front yard. It reminds of mulberry leaves but I'm terrible at identifying plants. Do you guys think I got really lucky and found a mulberry tree or is my inner desired for a mulberry tree playing tricks on me?
Thanks!

I'm going to bump this thread and ask if this is new picture is a mulberry tree? I keep finding these little things around and I'm starting to doubt that they're mulberry. Any help would be appreciated

You can test it if you have silkworms. If you have a bunch put a leaf in with a couple. If it's not mulberry they might chew it a little, if it is they will devour it. Don't feed them off if you aren't sure.
