I've been leaning towards a male Jacksons chameleon. Why don't you all try to sell me on your favorite chameleon?

I'm a panther man all the way. Their colors, size and temperament (from what I've experienced) do it for me. Everyone and there mom has one, but I don't care. They're beautiful creatures.

Jacksons are great too. I love their horns and they definitely look like dinosaurs! :)

i have a veiled and recently added a jackson. they do have different tendencies that i enjoy observing. i liked the "casque" look and obviously "horns" baby!

i really couldn't try to convince someone one way or the other, i think the panthers bring so much color but the body shape didn't "grab" me.

if i lose my mind and get another tho, i am leaning to CARPET!

Haha. I've previously owned two panther chameleons. A boy and a girl. I love them so much! I figured I would try a different chameleon this time and I love the horns!!!:D

My husband got me a baby Jackson's for Christmas, and I have to say now he is my favorite cham. He's got a great personality, already eating from my hand and he enjoys coming out to hang with me. I've always had panthers, now I have just one, and a Graceful as well.

I think it all depends on what your personal preferences are. The panthers have the most beautiful colors, but my Jackson also turns some beautiful greens and has really cool patterns. And of course the horns! What ever you choose as your next chameleon, good luck :)

I'm with you on that. I was actually looking into a jackson as my next chameleon but I think i'm going to have to go with the panthers for now because of their beautiful colors

I don't really have a favourite but I do really like jacksons and panthers! :D My first was going to be a jacksons, and maybe I will get one eventually.. I find them so cool looking!

My husband wants a panther though (And I suppose I do too) because of how pretty the colouring is! So vibrant :) But that does not mean that other chameleons can't be just as if not prettier! ;)

(Just going through the more common chameleon varieties... I absolutely love the way Marimo looks, but they are really hard to come by, those ellioti's!)

Jacksons are pretty cool looking but panthers all the way. Their colors. Enough said :D

I really enjoy the Nosy Be Panthers and the bluer the better. Way down the road I would love to get a Parson's.

Who doesn't want a triceratops running around their house? :D This will forever be a conflict between my husband and I: Jacksons or Panther? We will probably end up getting both ;) Once we own the house, we will be turning a room into a winter-chameleon hub and we will build outdoor enclosures and keep them all!

I stand by what I said before: Jacksons! :D The horns are wicked cool ;) But if you want a bigger chameleon, go with a male veiled (I say male because they can have awesome colour combos) or, if you really want the same as before, panther! :D

I have to be realistic. My wife would never let me spend $2k - $3k on a cham. Shoot, I don't know if I want to spend that much. That's a down payment on my future boat! :D

I do enjoy the Jackson's and would love to have one or a pair but I don't think they would do well in my reptile room. Days in summer around 82 and 75-77 at night. I think the Jackson's like it a bit cooler especially at night.

Hopefully in the future the price will go down a bit.

If I had my own house, I would make my backyard a little area for my chameleon(s) to roam around and enjoy with my supervision of course. that's cool though. i actually do want a jackson too but my next chameleon is a panther for sure then i'll look into a jackson :)
