Ive been looking/lurking for about a year on chameleons. I really think I want a panther chameleon. I already have been raising dart frogs so i got plenty of fruit flts I keep. I know you can feed babies this but how long can they eat this daily

Depends, but not over a few weeks at most. And you will need to start supplementing the ff's by adding small crickets before the few weeks are up.

Yah I supplement with rapashy calcium+ already. I was just curious mainly if it was ok to feed as a tempporary alternative for example If the cham was at the stage where he needed to eat every day and i couldn't get crickets and did fruit fly for that day it should be fine right. It's hard to get crickets with exception of online order and no way my girl is letting roaches in the house

Chams will typically ignore food items that they deem too small or too large. A cham older than a month or so would be very unlikely to eat fruit flies.

Why can't you just order crickets online? It's not hard to make a cricket bin to house them, and it's cheap to order feeders online anyway.

That makes sense I was just hoping I could kill 2 birds with one stone. I will just order crickets. I will post again once o have decides who I'm ordering from thanks again guys

Babies wont eat fruitflys much past6 weeks .Most breeders dont sell them untill there 10-12 weeks old. Its a good idea to keep a good supply around just incase your supplier has problems. Like buy a size a bit smaller than you need and buy 2-3 weeks supply at a time
