My family constantly coming in and out of my room and my sister jumping and screamingMaybe it is stress. Any pictures please? Is there any potential sources of stress in the area, or that he can hear?
Should i stop hand feeding him for now?Well since they are very close to deaf it probably isn't the screaming. However having a lot of traffic around them until they are more secure in their cage can create a situation where the stress shuts them down. If he is stressed to the limits of his endurance and health he might be only opening his eyes when he feels the vibrations of an approaching "predator" or the opposite only when he feels very safe.
I would give this guy some space and privacy. Tune up your husbandry and reduce the traffic in your room or drape off the cage so he doesn't have to endure all the goings on..
He uses his tongue and shoots it out of my handAre you letting him eat off of your hand or putting food in his mouth because he's not eating?
If he's willing to eat off your hand that's ok but eyes closed during the day indicates stress, illness, low temperatures or too much light at night.
If you have to force feed him to keep him alive then that' what you do but try to minimize handling and stress between feedings.
This past month i haven’t really been supplementing when he had the shedding problem could that be why, or the last shedding problem i was more so focused on just getting him to eat i wasn’t thinking. Are you letting him eat off of your hand or putting food in his mouth because he's not eating?
