Isn't he cute! His eyes look good to me. It can take them quite some time to adjust to a new home. I'd give him a week unless he gives you another reason to be concerned (like going to sleep during the day).

I'm not sure about that spot...to me, it looks like a marking.

i have seen him with his eyes closed during the day i just cant figure out why
temp is 90 in hot spot 80 to mid 70 in the cooler parts humidity 50-60 spray all the time i tried giving him some water with an eye drop but he wouldnt take it.

they look a lil dehydraited to me..what color are his poops..should be a regular brownish jelly bean (hard to explain shape and texture of a terd)lol with a white attachment (thats the pee, if its yellow or orange in color he is dehydraited and needs more water)..hope everything goes well.

90 is hot for that species. Your basking spot (the hottest place in the cage) should really be about 80-85 degrees. The small ones generally don't want as much heat.

If the natural temperature in your environment gets above 80, I'd suggest turning the basking light off.

I switch the bottom of the cage with a white towel to keep an eye on the stool every thing seems normal.

I'll def get the basking spot down to a lower temp thanks for all the help.

Same as everyone else said, nothing to worry about yet, give at least a week for getting used to a new place before you worry. Eyes are fine - they don't stick out as far as they sometimes do, but they are far from sunken.

The spot looked bad when I was viewing the thumbnail pics... but when.opened up it looks like markings... and in the 3rd pic it looks like its on both sides of his body? Is that correct? ... he's a good looking chameleon....

Yes The spot is in both sides of his body It some times is more dominant then it will almost go away. Thanks for all the help this is putting me to ease. I'm def going to be keeping a closer eye on him though. And what do u mean by markings? Like a bruise or just a pattern

Markings means his natural pattern

90 is death for that species..it should be 70 ambient and max 80 in the basking zone!! i posted a second after you said that!! that is most likley the issue..the cham is over heating

Heat lamp is off and temps have settled into about 77 I have a small fan pointed at the cage now to get some temp drop. Could u tell me a little more about my species to make sure I didn't miss any thing. I know alot about them but he still is my first Cham
