I think she has an R.I. Mucus in the mouth and gaping like that are usually signs of one. Can you upload a picture of the inside of her mouth?

i dont have my camra and my phone broke. sucky luck so no. but i check for mouth rot. i was useing a dripper and allowing her to drink more by droping water on her face. she opened her mouth and drank some (right after eating 2 pritty big waxworms) mabey she choked a little? i saw her do this before when she drank to much aswell and atm she stopped breathing like that. i will take her to the vet but i have to be 100% sure whats wrong. the vet isnt that smart.

You can take a q tip and clean the mucous out from the back of her throat that will help her breath a little better. I would up her ambient temp a couple degrees and keep the humidity higher with a warm mist humidifier. If you don't have one or can't find one a steamy bathroom for a while will work.

Do you have Reptaid? I would start her on that until you can get her to the vet.

Sorry your girl doesnt feel good :(

i gave her some med left over form clairs RI. that should help a little but i only had a drop left. im keeping an eye on her atm.

thanks for your adivse i'll take it. i need to order reptiaid.

just my phone. my good one will be back 2mmrow and i can take some pics for u. im so sad shes not feeling well. im scared to shower her becuz last time i did she freaked out jumped in the water and than breathed a little in(i think_ becuz she gaped for a few mins. than she was ok. think thats how she got it?

i Q-tiped her. thats the 3rd or 4th time this week iv had to hold her like that D:. i took a good look inside her mouth and no bubbles came out. she weezed tho so theres def soemthing wrong. Shes going to the vet asap. i didnt see any signs of mouth rot and no yellow bubble/clear bubble stuff. the qtip came out clear. i feel terrible for stressing her so much. is there anything i can do to make her feel better dureing this terrible time?

It is hard telling what exactly could have caused the RI. All we can do now is see a vet to make sure it is what we are dealing with and treat accordingly.

Just keep at what your doing. See a vet and im sure you guys can make it out of this :)

For humidty you can turn your shower on hot close the door let it get super steamy then you can turn the water off. Set her in the bathroom in her cage or on a plant. She doesnt need to be in the water its the humidity thats going to help.

I've done this with a dozen rescues and it's always giving them temporary relief and calms the weezing.

After I would just let her be until you talk to the vet.

Along with having super low humidity for the species the night time temperature drop is not even close to being an OK drop for the species. Low 60s at least if not into the 50s would be more ideal for this species.

With all the dumping water in its mouth that has been going on via dripping it on her mouth and possibly inhaling some in the bath tub, Id say those would be a good culprit if she does have an RI.

Glad you are taking it to the vet before it gets worse.

i have never dumped water in her mouth :( i tryed showering before but she got upset jumped off and breathed in water. im thinking that how she got this. i'll put her in the bathroom and let it steam up. her humidty reading atm is 64% and its been bedtime for hours so i really dont think thats the problem. but from the info i posted eariler its udnerstandable. i didnt look as the gauge i just guessed. thats my fault. back to dumping water in her mouth. i was teaching her to dropper drink and she opened her mouth to drink. haddent gaped at all except today)after she ate some waxworms. some sticky stuff came up right after eating them she may have choked. i still think she has a RI tho). i gave her some meds for an RI becuz i happend to have some. im going to call the vet 2mmrow and get some more and treat her. her temp acutalluy dropped to low dureing the day so i bought her a bulb to bring it to 80(basking point) max. it doesnt even reach that with the bulb on dureing the day. i drops alot more dureing the night. thankyou for your advise with my cham and excuse guessed info. i filled it out quickly becuz i was really worried about her.

update

Called the vet(getting a refill on RI meds becuz clair had one before when she wighed 5grams and it was waterdown) so its perfect. i'll pick it up unless the lady calls and says i have to bring chole in. if thats the case she will go in tommrow or the next day.

yay ^^

update

the vet gave me a 10 day treatment for an RI(same stuff i used for clair)

said if it doesnt go away to bring her in and let him have a look at her. im really happy and i think chloe is going to have a super quick recon. Shes eating and drinking good/ im misting more to help the meds from hamring her in any way and bought a fan so at night her zone is cooler. her poops look gud :D.

i'll post pics when i find my camra.

Update

things are going good. chloe is eating more drinking more and i cleaned my room so everything looks nice. yay. heres some pics of her now. i also put some of her and clair sunning/chloes home(you can see clairs FR in the backround on some pics). hopefully she'll be perfect soon. see any problems feel free to say so. i only want the best ^^.
