Yes, DinoFuel is a dry gutload. Cricket Crack is too. You can feed DinoFuel in the dry powder form or put a tablespoon over a vegetable, nuts or seeds. I recommend using it both ways. Variety is key! You can also use it as a dust. For example, I always dust my fruit flies and blue bottle flies heavily with it. It coats quite nicely as the bugs turn a greenish shade and I know the chameleons and small dart frogs are ingesting it!
I even soak my saltwater fish's nori seaweed in Regular DinoFuel and they love it. Spirulina is a common fish food ingredient and know color enhancer, along with many of the other ingredients. The spirulina and bee pollen, as many other ingredients in each product are well know for boosting animals and humans immune systems. For fish, it extremely boosts the appearance of color and health, just like people and reptiles.
Every new saltwater fish I acquire is put in a "hospital tank" and their food (squid, brine, nori, etc. is soaked in spirulina and other vitamin sources to improve health and color, while undergoing quarantine. This keeps them strong and colorful during the stressful process.
Plus, many smoothie companies actually put spirulina and bee pollen in their smoothies to improve color and nutritional value.
