I need a bigger cage in the future

Okay so my Cham is estimated to be two-three months old rn he is in a 30 wide 18 deep and 30 high cage (inches) when he is older or in bout 2 months I’m going to get a bigger cage. What is the minimal size cage for an adult veiled? Also would it be cheaper to build a mesh enclosure of 3feet tall 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep or buy one (yes I would be up for the work it takes to build one)

thank you guys so much

+1. Minimum 24" x 24" x 48" You can go wider, but the risk in going deeper than 24" is that:
  • It can be harder to find a table or stand to put one on,
  • It can be difficult to reach into anything deeper any time you may need to get in there.
If you have the space, 48"W x 24"D x 48"H is a nice size, and several mfrs. are now offering that size.

Based on where you are, I would also suggest a hybrid design.

ADDENDUM: Also to consider is the drain pan; it should be planned ahead and worked into your design.
