no i have a dif bowl for that and the bowl is to catch the water and i will be putting some mesh over it in the next few days

Thanks for posting the photo. Yeah, the bowl for the drinking, then it needs to be taken out. Cams do not drink water from the bowls. The lick the water from the leaves. You need at least a dripper. Also if that a ficus you and you plan misting the cage, I would cover the soil with plastic. I had ficus before and it almost died from over watering. What I did is I cut the plastic bag on the side, covered the soil with it and taped bag to the plant pot. This way the water does not get too wet and plant is not over watered.
