I hate it when people don't listen -.-

I'm venting here, so if you dont want to read me complain, I suggest you leave.

So I got my first cham, and I know they dont want people watching them 24/7 all day everyday, but no. It seems that step dads never listen to you or take any advice you give them. I tell him every (excuse my language) fucking day to not mess with the setup, because everything collapses and I have to re do it, but he won't listen. And when he looks at him he screams in the cage trying to get him to come to the front, making him even more scared of me so I won't be able to get him out of the cage. I'm pissed.


Ok, it felt good to get that out. I get angry pretty easy, lol.

I would be upset, too! I remember when Peaches, my 6 month old Ambilobe female was out getting son on her free range tree, i told my mom not to do anything stupid or sudden. I went inside for a second while she was watching Peaches, and when I came outside, she was wiggling her finger, blowing kisses, and was talking to her like a dog. Meanwhile Peaches was flaring up getting real pissed. I told her that she was about to bite, and to listen next time. She never messed with her again, lmfao.

I'm scared to even let him free range if and when he gets big because of some of the idiots we have in this house. But, if they get bit its their own fault. I know that when he puffs up to leave him alone, they don't.

yeah.. thats pretty disrespectful. ESPECIALLY when you're trying to get the new animal acclimated. you should just kick him in the nuts next time and tell him he'll have to rearrange his prostrate everytime you have to rearrange the cage, and that for everytime he pisses off the chameleon, your going to add some extra salt to his food and some extra sugar to his coffee to race his heart making him feel uncomfortable like you're new chameleon. lol step parents are dumb sometimes

I'd so do that but my dad is different he likes "petting" my meller which kinda is his but he doesn't understand so what I do is when he's watching tv I "pet" his head for ever untill he complains lol....I'm Latin don't judge

P.s. - Phil, I know you have baby Veileds - if I had them and a working camera I would have filled up youtube with videos and be spamming the forum with pics and vids.........where are your pics? Come on, that hatching vid of yours was mint, I want more

does sound very anyonying, but on the brite side at least he takes an interest in what interests you. maybe try to show him how it is stressing him out and signs that he is doing so as an indication to stop.
