I forgot to turn my UVB on and my chameleon has been sleeping with the lights on.

As i said, i left the chameleons UVB light off by mistake and worried that something is wrong with her. I turn my lights off at 9:00 and just noticed now. She has been sleeping for 3 hours already and im worried. Plz let me know if she will be fine thanks

She is a panther chameleon and ive had her for three days, and im scared something might happen

Going without lights for a day will cause no harm.

So if shes been in the same position for a couple of hours she will be fine. I read somewhere that if they dont have the correct heating they will sleep. Should i just wait till tommrw to turn the UVB light back on

Just get back on schedule and you should be fine.... I was over at Home Depot today and they have timers reallly cheap.. It
s a life saver.. I have them on my frogs tanks and used it for my reef tanks for years...

i didnt forget its just it was unplugged so when i "turned it on" i saw light (because i have 2) so i believed that they were both on, but the UVB was actually unplugged. I just turned it on now for a little bit before i turn it on and she's awake. So should i just leave it off till tomorrow morning, or give her some light for now?

Just leave it off until tomorrow. Its really not a problem that the UVB wasnt on today. Even if it was unplugged for a week the chameleon is not going to die from it.

give her light tonight until the usual time you would shut it off. shut it off, let her sleep tonight, and turn it on tomorrow morning at your usual morning time

Hey I came home today and found the heat bulb off.. I have Two Vieled Chameleons.. Will this affect them in anyway?

No, if it was just today then don't worry about it Now, do you have two veileds together sharing that heat bulb?

After Hurricane Irene, my vieled went 11 1/2 days with out lights and monsoon mister and still alive and kicking. one day shouldnt be a problem, imo
