Ok so as you all probably know Ringo is pretty much in a free range. Well first he would get down and wander and you could pick him up and put him back up on his free range... Well then he figured out how to get under the door and Ive found him in our master bedroom 1 day, then the next I found him in my sons room. Today I walked in on him and he found his way to the turtle tank. I got him on a stick and made him go back to his cage/free range. Walked in 2 minutes later and he was next to the door trying to get out.

This whole situation would be SO much easier if my house was chameleon safe and I would just leave him in the livingroom with me. But its not! I have a 5yr old cat, a 5 month old puppy, and a 3y/o dog and my 3 y/o son. Not to mention the 2 kids I have to babysit everyday. So pretty much the outside of that room isnt safe for him! And now the room isnt safe since he found his way to the turtle tank.

So I'm lost! I dont know what to do. His new cage is in the works but have to allow time for the watersealant to dry and fumes to die out. So I'm stuck o_O *sigh*

Lol mommy reaction coming - He's too young! No Ringo getting into any girls pants right now! =P

Looks like I'll have to open up his freerange

He's 7 months now =) Here's the runaway

yea a bit too young.

i know the feeling.

my female crawled under 2 closed doors... i'll have babies hatching in november/december. ;)

and my male hoehnelli went missing for over 24 hours... found him on my tv.
in a nother rom, 20 feet away.

Yea what scares me the most is my cat I know that if he did hang out in the living room with me i could put him on a free range on my desk (top ot the shelf on the desk is 6 feet from the ground). Would be out of reach from little finger and playful puppy! But my cat is a different story. I did however have a parrot 4 years ago that she left alone.. lol

Yea yesterday when he got out of his room and into my sons room. I went to pick him up with a ladder (he doesnt like being handled) and well he touched my arm and he looked at my arm and hissed at it. I was like "Well your touching me silly. I'm not touching you!" Well he wasnt convinced and continued to hiss at my arm. Anyways hes up high staring at me

Well we rehomed our turtle and the turtle tank will be moved out in the morning.... After thinking about it I might set up a small FR on my desk and what my cat really closely. The desk is right next to a window so I need to figure out how to get some vines and branches up there so he can be in the window... I'll sit and think about it tonight, my only issue with this it that he doesnt like being handled and if I need to move him.

You can always put something under the door (like a towel) to prevent him from getting under it. Or if it is hardwood, put a rug under it.
