I changed my setup

Im using a 60 watt basking bulb, a 5.0 UVB 18 inch, ficus trees, fake vines and branches.

I have a mist king nozzle in each cage at the top that sprays down.

I bought the tub at Lowes today, which collects the falling water. It even has wheels so you could roll it if you had it on the ground.


The only thing i dislike is the pizza box in-between the cages so they cant see each other.. My jackson turns yellow and starts head bobbing every time he sees my panther..

(I know someone will not like the window behind the cages, but ive checked the temperatures through out the night and it doesn't affect it.)

Windows were a mistake in my case. Glad you checked the temps. My worst case was in the day when the weather got too hot, kidney failure ensued, as far as I and other forum users can tell.

Looks nice! Why not get some newspaper? Let them read the comics!

Its perfect size. Fits two 18 inch cages just perfect.

I did have to put a piece of wood in the middle to compensate for the wheel well built into the plastic, but that also helps create my 1 inch gap between the cage and the plastic.

Looks great as far as I can see. Just wondering if your going to instal a tap/drain on the catcher tub, might be easier to empty that way?

That sounds like another project in the making

Im moving in July to a bigger house. So my hope is with this new setup i can just wheel them outside when the weather is permitting
