I’m back! Hello Once Again

So I raised the cage and also got my Arcadia UVB in. Is a 60W daylight bulb enough for basking? Also, my panther has been very calm with us and I believe it’s the calmest panther I’ve ever come across so far. He is very healthy and ate right away and has been eating lots of crickets. It just struck me as strange that I stick my hand in his cage to get him used to it and he just looks at me and doesn’t even puff his chin or anything I even rubbed under his chin a bit and he did not flare one bit just kinda looked at me, anyone experience this?

Hey guys, so I never came across this with my other chameleons but this one seems to not close his eyes fully when he goes to sleep? I have his pic here. Also please note that he just started to shed but it was this way since I got him

What’s the distance from basking branch to UVB bulb? The wattage of the heat bulb depends on what wattage gives you the correct temps.

So with the T5 HO 6%, you want the distance from basking branch to UVB bulb to be 8-9” if you don’t have a Solarmeter 6.5 to check the UVI levels

Got it, we’ll since i have some lower branches will he go to whichever height he needs or do I need to lower it?

Resting on top
Since you do have a young cham, you’ll want to raise the bulb 4” from the top of the cage and have the basking branch 5” below the top of the cage so when he screen-climbs, he has safe UVI levels. It’ll also give you more usable space in the cage, which is always nice!

How can I go about raising the light?
