The only discussion I could find was back I n 2006 which was inconclusive and mostly brain storming. Has anyone had success with hydro plants and enclosures?

Ive built some pretty cool hydroponic fish tanks. But never for reptile enclousres. With the new chameleon cage Im hoping to get some of those same ideas and put them into chameleon cages. But not really sure how....

Not sure I understand what your question is. Did you mean using hydroponically grown plants? Substrates in plant pots? Watering systems?
I've used hydroponics flood tables as my cage bottoms as they can be plumbed for drainage and are larger than many other options. Those large ABS plastic pans are great!
