I have a screen cage with a plant in it and I mist the cage down 4-5 times a day, plus I have a drip system. It seems like I cant hold any humidity in that screen cage. Is there something I can do to help this?
J suggest puttinh a shower curtain around 3 sides of it. Or at least two. Also i hooked up a small personal humidifier to a hose running directly into my cage. Also i recommend searching this topic as there are many posts with others asking the same thing.

The plastic is not totally air tight like glass would be. I just have mine taped to the cage every foot or so and that allows gaps for air flow. And you're not wrapping all of the sides, just a few, which still leaves at least the front and top open. I know it sounds a little counter-intuitive but the ventilation doesn't actually diminish that much. I have one cage wrapped on 3 sides and the other wrapped on 2 and it doesn't affect temps or ever feel muggy or still in either cage any more than my unwrapped cage (lots of variety at my house).
I just put a humidifier in the room, not directed toward my cage though and it still works good. Got a cheap Sunbeam cool mist humidifier runs on a timer so it'll shut off when lights go out.
Mine is not wrapped either in anything, you can try without wrapping cage and see if you get your desired humidity.
