Humidity

A good misting session should be 2-4 minutes long..

It would depend on your location and type of cage you have.

^^^^^ exactly what @Ares05 said.
I do not mist during the day when my heat lamp is on. I have a long mist in the morning before lights are on and then 2 more an hour after I kick off the basking fixture so the temps lower in the cage. Only lighting on at that point is my T5HO fixture. The last misting happens right before my T5 kicks off to kick my night time humidity up. I follow this pretty closely https://www.chameleonbreeder.com/podcast/ep-89-naturalistic-hydration-for-chameleons/
