Humidity troubles with changing weather

Hi all,
Our weather in Springfield MO has been crazy this winter. One day it’s 65 and the next is 30. I’m noticing that when it’s cold & we run the central heaters the cage humidity is averaging 40% even with a misting system, cages high up, natural plants, drips etc. when the days are warmer, I find the humidity is more stable. I have 8 chameleons (Jackson’s, panthers, ousties) & 8 screen cages. I also have waterproof sides I could use to insulate if needed. I’m highly aware this is not ideal humidity for the breeds.

What would be common recommendations on the settings for monsoon misting system or any other advice that could assist me in keeping humidity up until the central heat is off again?

Ty in advance for help!
