Humidity problems, half dark/half light

I have 2 live plants, a dripper, a cool mist humidifier, and I mist 3-5 times a day, but the humidity is usually at 30%, 50% max when I close the door with the humidifier running for a while. I've read 50% should be the minimum, and I've been trying and trying to keep it up but idk what else to do.

Also, my Jackson is usually dark, with splotches of light green. Only time he's fully light green is when he's hiding/sleeping in the plants.

First off welcome to the forums !

It sounds like your Jackson may be cold, hence the dark coloring. They turn a darker color when they are sunbathing to absorb more heat.
I can't be certain without more info but you may just have a inaccurate hygrometer
Would you mind taking a picture of your enclousre and well as list the brand and modle of your hygrometer?
