Humidity Level

Ive looked and read much about humidity levels, I understand that it varies depending on species. I have also read different opinions and that a decent humidity level range from 50% to 80%, Ive read the care sheets and some are not specific on levels but merely state "moderate Humidity"

With all that being said, with the enclosure I have with no covers on the side or back I am holding at 70% humidity, but this may change once I turn my AC on, is 70% acceptable for a Veiled or a Panther?

Yes, but you don't need it to remain constantly high either. Too humid of conditions can make for conditions to breed mold or bacteria which could lead to respiratory problems. The idea is to have the humidity go up and down. It should spike when you mist the cage and then go lower.

Awesome, that's what I have, Its generally around 50-55% then spikes to 70% when misted.
