Humidity confuses me...

My set-up:
-4' Tall x 2' Wide x 31" Deep
-3 Live plants; Ficus, Hibiscus, and Dracaena
-Back and Right side of enclosure are covered with a clear vinyl shower curtain
-Monsoon RS400 set on a timed mist with an EcoZone Controller; 4 minute mist at 930am, 2 minutes mist at 1230pm, 2 minute mist at 330, and 4 minute mist at 530pm.
-Basking spot average between 82 and 85 degrees during day.
-Ambient temperature ranges between 73-75 during day
-Night temperature ranges from 71 and 74 degrees (trying to drop to 60's)

-Average humidity level during the day = 35%
-Average humidity level during the night = 47%

Isnt that backwards? I thought the heat during the day would increase the humidity during the day and the temperature drop during the night would decrease it? Am I thinking wrong?

What kind of cage do u have if a screen then yeah Mabe a little more wa5wring but make sure they have some dry time inbetween watering you don't want a constantly wet cage

cover 3 sides of the cage with plastic (a shower curtains work well).. that should bring up the humidity a bit. You can also use a cold air humidifier.

before misting it is 31-35%, during the mist it spikes to 44%, as soon as the misting stops the humidity level drops quickly down to the beginning, 35%
