I just ordered a new penn plax 2x2x4 can everyone show me pics of their humidifier set ups so i can get ideas!? I currently cut a hole in my current cage for the hose but want to avoid that if possible

I have a ultrasonic humidifier with output large enough to put 2" pvc pipe inside. I simply run the pipe up to my cage and direct the output thru the screen. Seems to work very well. The pipe looks like an upside down J

I don't use the humidifier on my chams but I do use it on my Emerald Boa.

I have a reptifogger and it sucks I hate it when it turns on it makes a screeching noise and in takes about 15mn for it to finally start working and I have only had it for 3 months so I'm kinda mad but sounds like you aren't getting a repti fogger. And do you have a screen cage?:D

Yes I have a screen cage and I have an ultrasonic humidifier. I took the tubing from the repti fogger and attached it to my humidifier with electrical tape

I just have my humidifer on while its on the floor i get it to a decent humdity and then i do little times here and there. So i dont have any piping to the cage

Get you a piece of acrylic and drill a hole the size of the humidifier tube then screw the piece of acrylic to the outside frame of the cage. That should hold the tubing just fine. Of course the pvc sounds like a great idea. Run it up the back so you don't see it. I used a piece of acrylic to cover my back and painted it black. I just sit it in the back and have the four corners tied on with black zip ties to the frame. Still allows for ventilation but hides any wires that might show through the plants and keeps more of the light in the cage.
