hi guys

i have a pug and sully is not bothered by her at all.

i would never let them properly meet due to safety, plus my pug gets excitable.sully watches her and has never shown any signs of distress.

just wondered how your cham was with your pets?? :)

I wouldn't let the dog get too close. One quick investigative nip could result in catastrophe. Think great white shark vs human.

of course i wouldnt let them get too close.as stated above i would never let them meet due to obvious reasons.i ment at a very safe distance.

it was just curiosity really as i have read before about some chams becoming very stressed when seeing dogs & cats at a distance, even in there enclosures.as sully never has i just wondered if anyone elses chams were not bothered like mine.:)
also the breeder i got my cham from had 2 dogs so hes obviously used to seeing them around.sully still keeps a very close eye on her mind but obviously my eyes keep him safe at all times.

I have 4 cats, and they don't really care about Zaphod. They are very interested in the feeders :D. Zaphod doesn't mind them, but doesn't like if they are walking around below when I'm holding him. He doesn't show stress, but does grip a little tighter. (and that can be a bit painful with his razor sharp nails :o)

My two dogs are great with the chameleons, they don't bother them, they watch from a distance, if anyone is free-ranging they keep their distance... however, the chameleons do not like the dogs at all. I think it's not just that they're dogs, but also that they are blue merle, so covered in black blotches and I think this bothers my Meller's quite a bit! Guinevere didn't react to my friend's solid white American bulldog or her original owner's silver Dane like she does with my patchy two.

When I had fish in an aquarium my veiled female would make her way up to it and try to shoot at the tiny cardinal fish through the water!

Here are my two nosy boys..... They'll sit and peer for quite awhile at the feeders as they hop around... Stanley could care less, he'll walk around the bottom of the cage and just look at them, wanting out...

My cat, is under two yr old and has looked at George briefly. He moves too slow to keep his attention. The feeders however, are a different story! Aswell as a recent infatuation with the big dripper :/ to the point where I've caught the cat twice sat on top of George's enclosure. George none to bothered. Needless to say, Perkins the cat is not allowed in the room when I'm not in there.
As much as George doesn't seem bothered, and Perkins doesn't seem too interested in George I can't risk it. Aswell as the cat possibly tearing the screen or making holes in it.
And that he tries to pull the dripper tube out of enclosure :/ yet he hates water, go figure.
Kath.
