Did u get the chow with them? They basically only eat mulberry leaves or the chow that's made from them. The can eat shaved carrots but that will not sustain them like the chow.
 
Keep the temperature between 78-85 degrees. Clean out the feces and remove any dead silkworms daily. Be sure to wash your hands before touching them as they are very susceptible to disease. You can use a tweezer to handle them, but they also bruise very easily, so be careful with that as well. When it is time to feed, I like to smear the chow opposite of the old chow, so they crawl to it and leave the old chow for easy disposal. If you have access to actual mulberry leaves, that's even better. :)


One more thing to add...if you remove silkworms to feed your cham and they do not get eaten. Do not put them back in with the others, especially if they had already been in the cage. Contamination could kill off the others.
