How to make a drain?

can be as simple or as complicated as you choose. simplest would be take a rubbermaid container, slit holes on the lid, and make sure your dripper/mister water falls into that after hitting leaves/vines (not directly into plant soil), and replace it daily.

Go to walmart and get one of those storage plastic or metal stands. I have plastic. Mine came with 5 shelves, but i only use 3. The bottom one for storage, the middle for the water catcher and the top for the cage. Drill a few small holes in plastic bottom part of the cage, and then drill a big hole in the plastic shelf so the holes are inline with eachother. Then put a big storage bin on the middle shelf to catch the water.. Some water goes out the front of my cage so i just keep the bin hanging over a bit to catch that. Works great.

I went to home depo and bought one of those heavy duty tarps and a hand held stapler like the ones you staple house wire up with and i folded the tarp to mach the dimensions of my cage and stapled it to the bottom like a big diyper then i put my cage up on a stand put a bucket under it made a cut in the middle and wola instant drain... my cat knoked it over once  but all it well with a little scalding and some training lol...
