how to give a pedialyte bath?

So I started a thread the other day called tips on rehydrating my cham and I still can't get him hydrated enough to get his eye turrets nice and full looking. I moved his dripper, uped the duration of his misting intervals, sprayed down his feeders and keep hand misting him. I'm wondering how to give my cham a pedialyte bath or if I should get him to the vet? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey there i didn't see your other post but i felt like i wasn't hydrating my Cham enough at first, then i started to give him long showers in his cage, i have a hand mister that u can push a button at it will stay misting till the water has gone, i just spray him on his back till its empty and he absolutely loves it and his urates are brill!! his eye turrets are really nice and full, he comes to his branch at the front of his cage for a shower everyday he closes his eyes curls up his tail and has a nice warm shower :) heres a few pics :)

He looks amazing. Great job! :D

If you can get your chameleon outside, probably the best thing for them is to be in a cage or on a small tree and just aim a gentle hose spray at him for a while. Between the water and the sun he will probably feel good as new!

Pedialyte should only be used in an emergency when the cham is not drinking or eating on its own at all. The sugars and electrolytes it contains are not things you want on a cham's skin.

If he's drinking and eating well (and I mean he isn't desperately thirsty every time you mist him. Thirsty chams can salivate a LOT while drinking), his casque looks normal and he doesn't have any other health problems maybe his eye turrets are normal for him too.
