Hello!

We just built a big cage (4ft cubed) for Herbie the chameleon and we are having a problem feeding him crickets in there. The crickets find places to hide and Herbie never finds them. He always has hunted for his food in the smaller cage but can't seem to do that in the bigger cage. Any tips for easy feeders that will make crickets visible and easy for him to eat?

THANKS!:)

I saw a few others made a feeder out of a 2 liter soda bottle, so I tried one out for my little guy, he went right to it this morning when I fed him. Here's the link to the post that I got the idea from..

I would find all the little holes and crevices and fill them with peices of paper towel just get small pieces and roll them n push them in there and let ur chameleon hunt

the link missbritt posted, that is the one I was looking for - they work pretty good- just be sure to use screen on the bottom so the water can run out if you get any in it- but they work well :)

Thanks yall...i will try out the bottle feeder. Also fill the holes so he can hunt if they get out! :)

Feeder cup is really easy. I have a couple different sizes depending on how good of a climber I'm using. The. I just sit it in the canopy some how.
