How to do a fecal

Im pretty sure my leopard gecko has parasites so I am planning on getting a fecal done only problem is she poops during the night when the vet is not open. How can I preserve the poop untill I can get it to the vet in the morning or later in the day when I am out of school?

I stuck mine in a small plastic cup, wrapped it in a sandwich bag, and stuck it in the fridge.

my guy pooped at 5pm yesterday, and i took it to the vet at 5 pm today, did all good. tested for parasties.. and was positive. so it worked.

You can just put it right in a zip lock back and put it in the frig. The fresher the better but some parasites show up for 24 hours maybe even a little longer.
