How old is my Chameleon and estimate until shes eggbound?

The first pictures looked like a flapneck but the second two look like a Senegal. It's really hard to tell on both though

May you please describe the characteristic features of both species of the females so I can better examine it on this end? Also does she look gravid? Or have eggs in her? If you guys cant tell i guess just better have a egg laying bin in and try my best to tell its species.

Edited its not a flap neck so im assuming senegal chameleon but thats weird its mom and dad were much bigger and on the net says they grow to 7 - 8 inches mom was like 10 dad 12 -13

The web measurements might not include the tail (only snout to vent).

You really need to borrow a camera from someone. Every time you post photos we just can't help you because we don't see anything. Please please please, borrow someone's camera or buy a really cheap one (digital cameras sell as low as $30) but we just can't help you properly because of your camera pics. (Edit) <--- I swear I don't say this in a mean or angry way. I really want to be able to help, but I can't see much.

Parents? I believe it is very rare to see CB Senegal anywhere, let alone a pet store. If I remember correctly it's because we can't replicate their natural habitat enough to get them to breed.

If it's a Senegal it's not CB.

Senegals look very similar to Common, Graceful, and Flapneck chameleons. Excluding the Flapneck, you can really only tell the difference between them by the patterns they display (This is based on my own reasearch. If someone knows otherwise, please correct me). I've attached a few pictures of my Senegal for reference. One shows the casque better and the other shows his triangles

Flapneck: Like its name, has extra flaps near the back of the casque
Common: Has two bars
Senegal: Has triangles down the back
Graceful: Vertical bars

These patterns are not always visible. Ours only shows his triangles when he's stressed or hunting

Gotta agree with Yume on what she said. Looks to me like she has the flaps... not 100% sure. I would say though through owning a Senegal, that the dorsal frills look longer and more defined than Peppers's, my Senegal. By looking at some flap-neck pictures, I'm convinced their frills are a little gnarlier looking like the one on yours. Peppers sometimes gets two fairly large yellow dots on both sides on the upper part of his/her body about 1/3 and 1/2 of the way down (usually only seen while basking outdoors).

You might describe those yellow dots a bit more.

She does look a little roughed up. I hope she enjoys her new home.

Yea shes a flap neck their small but their there. LOL i didnt think she was their so tiny but yea shes a flapneck :) I dont know why she looks roughed up I think because of dehydration.

She's probably wild caught. I haven't heard of anyone really getting into breeding the flapnecks in the US. Pretty much all imports.

Nope, Reptmart sells a lot of WC chameleons. I got my Jackson's from them and they told me he was WC. But mine was in great shape, all things considered, so that's why I picked him out. I don't think they breed anything themselves, so if no one else is breeding these species in captivity they'll get them the only way they can.

I thought reptmart was a combined Large/famous leopard gecko breeder (can't remember the name, but the word bell comes to mind) and Mike from FLchams store? They/he have/has the best WCs anyways (better than some CBs even!) Mike kicks butt.

that's nice to know that shes WC im sure she is, why shes so rough looking. she grew up in the ghetto(AKA the Jungle) LOL. anyways are there any difference to WC chams? She seems healthy and seems friendly, she seems like shes been handled alot because she has no problem of seeing me while I feed her or spray in her cage. Thanks guys for helping me out :) I haven't had any problems with her oh yea and on a side note I gave Elmyra to my cousin and she said she had died but she said she thougt she did but she still alive so we going to the vet tomorrow to have her checked out we discovered something about her though she only opens her eyes in the natural sunlight if shes in any type of other lighting whether it be darker brighter , in a shadow or shade or bulbs she has them closed and regardless of them being open in natural sunlight she refuses to eat still . When we discovered her eyes opened in the sun we prayed shed eat we were wrong, what do you guys think about this behavior? Ill be back Friday evening to see what the doctor tells me :D.

You might describe those yellow dots a bit more.

She does look a little roughed up. I hope she enjoys her new home.

At the top they are like yellow diagonal lines going from left to right . The mid section and the belly they are more like dots some big some small not alot of them but enough to notice them.
