Honestly you wont know for sure if she is truly a Cap Est until you have the first clutch hatch and hold back a few males to see how their colors develop. They call this proving out the female. If the male offspring look to be 100% as they mature then you have a proven female of that locale. If they do not show cap est coloring then the female is not actually that locale.

Female panther chameleons are hard to determine the type they are in almost all types. There can be very subtle indications in some of the types IMHO.
