How old does a male veild have to be to fertalize eggs

Also can I keep the two together in one tank for a month or so?

How long can I keep them in the same tank for? Even after eggs are laid?

Not sure about age to fertilize. I would guess it's the same as a female which is 8 months I believe.

And you could, but I strongly recommend against it. They will be stressed, unhappy and more than likely fight for the space. They could badly hurt each other or worse...

I breed my own crickets and roaches, and was still buying 1000's a week. They ate 6,000 crix in five days. That is $132 in five days. I even have friends who own stores and cut me price breaks. It really isn't worth it. I was only able to sell out because of those friends, proper timing with two expos, help from a certain retired moderator from the north on here, an ex-boss who whosales, and a little luck. What will you do when you have 160 chameleons all needing their own cages? Keep, don't breed. just my two cents, worth about one cent in pesos.

If you only breed one group, just 1 male and 1 female, it's probably not so bad, right...? o.o

If you keep the two in the same cage until they are sexually mature they will immediately mate and produce eggs. Not what I would recommend. They could get stressed out and their health may suffer.
