How often do you deep-clean your cage?

Just as the title suggests, I am wondering how often you guys deep-clean your enclosures. By deep-clean, I mean taking everything out and cleaning it all, the cage, the plants, the branches, etc. And how often do you just clean the bottom of the enclosure to get all of the poop out? I was wondering how it compared to my cleaning schedule, and if I could improve mine.

I'm just about to blog on this subject. I pick up poop daily or a few times a week depending on how much life's getting in the way. I clean more thoroughly on the weekend. I try to do a deep cleaning every six months. That seems to be when the plants need attention.

Maybe once a year, but that's usually because I change the layout about once a year. Somehow my cham has potty trained herself, she will only poop in the very bottom front center of her enclosure. Sometimes it feels like she is saying "here it is, do something with it." And since she only poops about once a week or two I have very little to clean up as far as frequency goes...

Sounds good! Thanks for all of the advice. I will be tweaking my cleaning schedule a little bit and cleaning out the poop more often. My cham poops so often that sometimes it's hard to keep up. I am going to aim for every other day. :) I usually deep clean my cage every few months, or when I see the cage getting really dirty.
