how often can me veiled have mice??

Hey everyone, i have a 11 month old veiled and the other day fed him his first frozen mouse. He loved it and I just fed him a second one about 4 days later, with crickets in between.

I am just wondering how often I should feed him mice. Are they healthy for him? Any advice would be great. Thanks

I have no experience with mice, but I have read other members recommending one a month being plenty. Pinky mice have a high fat content and offer little other nutrients while adult mice are too large usually.

as less as possible.. you can even make it once every 2 - 3 months.
just as an enrichment feeder.. not necessary..

too much protien to have them often.... maybe every six months is what seems to be OK..... Hatchling birds might be better... less red meat?
