how often are you supposed to feed a bumble bee walking toad?

my boyfriend baught a bumble bee walking toad and they said you can feed them pinhead crickets and fruit flies. we have been more successful with fruit flies, but we arent sure about how often to feed him. we dont want him to be obese or starving so please help if you can

Never heard of that toad! Can you post a pic. Is it like a pacman toad? Sounds interesting anyway.

it is not like a pacman toad it is the size of the average thumbnail and stays that size

fruit flies hiedi and 1/8 in. crickets = everyday. i keep mine at room temp with half moist soil and half dry. i spray the wet side once a day. i also keep a shallow water dish in the wet side. dust the crickets once a week with rapashy tree frog dust.

Don't they hibernate, so are not fed for that period of time?

thank you but i tried to feed him crickets and he didnt even eat them so we stick to what he likes, fruit flies.
