homedepot all the way!! I got a 2 1/2 foot hibiscus for 10.99 print your self a safe plant list and find a homedepot close to you they have a great selection.

I got my schleffera at Home Depot for $10 or so, came with 3 plants in the pot about 2.5ft tall.

I just picked out one yesterday at a local Wally World for $11.00 that is easily 24 inches tall and every bit as wide. They had some that were at least 48 inches tall. I also picked up a golden pothos in a hanging basket that is real nice for only $6.00. A lot of places will mark down their tropical this time of the year. Lowe's had marked down some very nice pots that I'm gonna re-pot them all into. Check around at all the places mentioned above as it is the time of year to fund some excellent deals.

thanks guys, i went to home depot today and got a 3 foot tall umbrella plant for 15 bucks and i also got a 4 foot tall money tree for them to play on, home depot had every type of plant known for chams and great prices

Wow, I didn't know home depot/lowes had plants safe for chameleons for so cheap. I may go today to check to see if I can find a nice hibiscus. I've got a pothos in my panthers cage right now but another plant won't hurt. And for 10 bucks, it's a steal.

Home depot also has a 90 day return policy if it dies, so keep reciept, Im not sure why, but Ive been to some nurseries that had prices that would make you think it was the last living thing on the planet. Then you go to HD and the same plant, is usualy about 10 bucks:confused:

The nurseries can't compete with the low prices of a big corporation like Home Depot or Lowes. That must explain the drastic price differences in the two.
