How much to feed 7 - 8 month old Veiled Chameleon

I have a 7 - 8 month old female veiled chameleon and I was wondering how much to feed her and how often. Right now I've been feeding her every day. I switched from the small crickets to large ones just the other day. Right now she gets 5 large crickets. Sometimes I throw in meal worms with the crickets to give her more of a variety. I haven't tried any other type of worm as of yet.

Is 5 large crickets enough? Should I switch to feeding her every other day? Also, how often should I use the calcium supplement? I'm using Repashy Calcium Plus.

Yes it is enough for her to be eating. You do not want to over feed her because around this time she may be producing an infertile clutch depending on how hot it is in her enclosure and how much you have been feeding her. I would get a laying bin set up for her to have in her enclosure at all times. Also I would go ahead and cut down on how much you use the Repashy and use it around once a week. I just saw a thread that someone was having problems after using the Repashy to much.

This is a great video about it to inform you on how to do it incase you do not know.

Thank you. I have been using the Repashy once a week. So I am good there.

Just to be clear, should I feed her every other day or every day? Thanks.

As far as that goes with you only feeding her 5 a day I would say keep feeding everyday until she is around a year old. That is my thought on it. I am sure someone who is more experienced with Female Veileds will chime in. Mine is only 5 months old at the moment so she is still eating every day.
