How much should my chameleon eat

Yeah a lot of people on the forum told me that she should be eating all she wants within a 5 minute period like 3 times a day. And calcium dusted every feeding along with a multivitamin twice a month and d3 twice a month. Feed her like that I was told until about 5-6 months then cut it down

Oh yeah that's right. Haha sorry I've been in the zone with some older chams today, you should be feeding her 15-25 pinheads a day or more if she'll eat it. She's in a crucial state of growth, so keep it coming!

At 3 months old my 2 babies were getting 15-20 a day. I have lower the food intake to 10-12 since my boy is 7 months old now. But I noticed this morning he didn't eat them all so may need to lower again.

But if she's 2months old she should be getting more than 8-10:)

Both people at petco are wrong and that is probably why their chameleons are usually knocking on deaths door when you buy them from their store. 2 crickets a day is literally starving the poor thing to death, 8-10 is alot better but still not near enough. If you are feeding small crickets, about 20 a day plus is appropriate for that age.

Really 20 crickets a day?????

Wow... So I just went to petco and bought 100 small crickets which ran me $12. So I did the math and for a month that would cost me $75  that's more expensive then the high grade food I buy for my English bulldog.

Veiled, around 2 months, and female

as much as she can eat of small sized feeders (not just crickets! give her variety!) within about 5 minutes, two to three times daily.
Reduce to once or twice daily at about 6 months.

begin to breed a couple types of bugs, and your costs will go down. And as she reaches adult size, you'll be giving her less quantity / fewer numbers of bugs.
