How Much Should a Baby Eat?

Mines a month old and he usually gets 7 to 10 bugs a day of either fruitflies, pinheads, or a mix of both. Is this a good amount? I also spray the enclosure for 30 seconds a few times a day.

I let the babies eat all they want, but the amount you stated should suffice just fine IMHO.

I put in many times that amount for my babies.

What would you suggest for flightless fruit flies? I have a couple start up "colonies" and a main colony. I thought 10 would be okay if not too much.

Usually what is suggested is that you feed them as much of the appropriate sized food as they can eat in about five minutes at each feeding.

I feed mine twice a day about 10 to 15 flies or a few pin heads or some extra small silk worms

I feed my little babies three times a day. They get many many times more food than you are offering. I probably feed three or four times the amount you feed a day in one feeding and I feed two or three times a day. There is always food for them.

Chamy Babies are like human babies,except u dont need to burp n change their diaperS.....watching babies eats is like going to a Rave....they just don't know how to STOP....
