How much do I feed my chameleon?

Hi, I'm new to chameleon ownership. I got a little 3 month old veiled chameleon 6 days ago and I'm unsure how much to feed him. I've been giving him gutloaded small locusts. I started him off on 3 per day but this didn't seem to be enough. I read somewhere that I should give him 10 per day, which I tried yesterday, but now he's not hungry today. It's surprisingly hard to find info on this so any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

You should really feed him more than that per day when there babies, i give zuggie around about 8-9 crickets and a few small locust a day as a baby, i think it might be the locust if he is just eating them? He will get bored of them quickly! Try mix with crickets as there better for him than locust but u can still give him afew of them a day! U need to mix it up abit! Zuggie got bored of crickets and wouldnt touch them so i moved onto silkworms as he absolutly loves worms there his fave! There his main feeder, i also have for him, crickets (sometimes he will eat a few) locust, calci-worms, butterworms, mario worms, banana roaches, and some waxworms :) so he has a variety of stuff mostly worms to keep him happy :D

Ah thanks for the advice :). He's called Neelix (star trek reference) and is a funny little creature, I find a good photo.
I'll try mixing it up a bit- if I give him worms will he eat them out a bowl in the bottom of his terranium? And if I give him crickets will I have to remove the uneaten ones so they don't nibble him? The loctusts I got are about a 1cm long & he's just not interested in them today. I have some meal worms but I think they might be too big for him, they're about 2cm long.
