No mealworms, they suck for a few reasons

As much as he/she will eat early in the day

My 4 month old panther will eat 5 to 12 medium size crickets a day before like 1pm. Then he likes to top it off with a dubia roach. I have tried feeding him dubias first and he wont have it. Just a single one when hes finished. Very picky lol

Go ahead and plump em full especially in the juvenile stage in the first part of day feed 6-10 medium crickets a day,mix it up with a couple dubia roaches and a hornworm or two and your buddy will b one happy camper I’d stay away from mealworms, there more like junk food for lizards.

Start with smalls to medium, usually nothing larger than the space between your chameleon eyes. I have a panther similar in age he’s feeding on mediums atm. If possible go to your local pet store and buy a dozen or two first to make sure he enjoys the feeders before investing in purchasing a large quantity of roaches
