make sure you take out any left over food about 4 hours before lights out so that he has plenty of time to bask and digest. they need that time to properly digest

It is best to feed your Cham once a day, earlier in the day so it has a chance to digest under the lights, before lights out. My lights go on at 7am and off at 6pm and I feed no later than 11am. This gives my Cham 7 hours to digest. Also, feed as much as it will eat in a 5 minute span and then remove any uneaten feeders.
