How Many Crickets a Day?

We are getting our 7-month old male panther in a couple of days and we want to make sure we have the right size and number of crix onhand (we will be using crix as the staple).

We were thinking 7-10 1/2-inch a day but any further insight would be awesome.

I have a 5 month old panther and he eats 12 to 17 3/4 to 1/2 inch crickets every day. But since yours is older he wont eat as much as mine does. The breeder told me at 7 to 12 months old he should eat 8 to 10 1/2 to 3/4 inch crickets everyday. With other insets offered as treats. This is just my opinion and what the breeder says. But I also think you will know if your cham needs more or less, by how much he doesnt eat by the end of the day or by how fast they are gone.

I have a 7 month panther. He eats about 7 adult crix a day plus 4 or so worms a couple times a week. I try to switch up the worms & unfortunately I'm in Florida so I can't get roaches. But be sure to vary the diet & stick to a good dusting schedule. I also vary the gutload I give the feeders. He is definitely starting to slow down his eating.
