how many a day?

so i just got my chameleon a few days ago and he is doing great! my only question is that since he is a baby how much should he eat? I've been feeding him 1/4- 1/2 inch silk worms and hes been eating them like crazy. i normally just get anywhere from 5-8 and put them in different places in his enclosure in the morning (8AM) and hes usually eaten them all my around noonish (11 AM). i've just been putting him 2 or 3 more in at around 2 PM but should i be giving him more?

babies eat alot...but you need to feed more than just one food. Keep feeding a few times a day. That is the best way for the little ones.

i was trying crickets but i was watching him spit them out as soon as he grabbed them and started hunting the silkworms. i've ordered some horned small horned worms to try out
