Im leaving home next friday and will be home on sunday night. I can arrange with the food problem easy, just leave a few extra bugs lose and provide her with worms in a bowl. But the WATER! I dont have a mist system, im doing it by hand and got a dripper. She is 4 months old and are in good health, always clear white urine.

Would she make it through that time with only a heavy mist on friday and the dripper going for as long as it will?

Just a suggestion. I would get a 5 gal. Water jug and turn it into a dripper. Air line, and valves are not expensive. 5 gals of water should last while you are away. Hope this helps.

Oh, never thought of that before. Thanks! I might take the valve of my dripper and put it on a larger one! EDIT: "air line" ? Whats that?

Just what I was thinking. And don't you have your enclosures in your basement and draining into your sump pit?

Well, right now when she is so little I got her in a exo terra. So I got a catch bowl for the dripper with mesh over it. And the excess water getting on the floor I dry up using a towel everynight before she go to bed. But when I get her a meshcage I´ll solve this problem much better. But till then, thats how her cage work..

I had you confused w/ someone else. Might be time to work on a drainage system. 5 gal at the top, 5 gal at the bottom.

Agree. But the thing with using a catch bowl is that water often drip outside of it since it splashes on the leafs and all over the floor.

I had a splash problem also just like that. I took care it with a couple pieces of plexiglass. One across the back and a 1/2 piece across the left side. Something to think about. Might work for you too.

What kind of cham do you have? If it's a veiled 3 days are nothing to them. You can always just leave some sliced bell pepper or blue berries in the enclosure...
