How long to recover from dehydration?

Oh Wow! That's alot of info. Thanks, I'll do my best. My herp vet comes to town 1x a month, I'll see how quick I can get in. Thanks again.

Preformed vitamin A is found in cod liver oil...so is D3. Both are fat soluble so they can build up in the system...and vitamin A and vitamin D3 are somewhat antagonistic to each other which makes me wonder how that affects the balance in the system.

Hmm, I'm trying to read all this stuff and it's a bit over my head. Maybe I'm just tired. I'm not sure what to do right now. I guess I'll be spending most of the day tomorrow sorting this mess out so my baby can get better. Thanks guys (or gals).

I ordered the calcium w/o d3 so waiting for it's arrival. I had a question about the mbd prognosis. The pic's with his arm bulges, is that not a wrist? He moves his arms like they are wrists. If he sits with his arm extended I see no bulges. So do you think he still has mbd?

It's always hard to tell things for sure in a picture ... but yes.
His arm does not look right. It is probably borderline, but it's there for sure.
He needs to go to the vet asap and get on a treatment plan to correct this issue.
Glad you ordered the calcium w/ no D3. You will need it for his continued maintenance ... it will not correct the current problem though .... we need bigger guns for that.

I will be taking him to the vet but she only comes 1x a month. She has not been in yet. I live in a small hick town. Glad to have a herp vet at all though. I was pleased with her work on my bearded dragon.

In the meantime get him outside for an hour or so each day in the natural sunlight, and dust all his feeders with the new calcium you ordered once it gets to you.

-Good luck!

I take my beardie out all the time. I was worried about handling the cham excessively, his name is bubbles said my son. We will do that today once it warms up a bit more. Thanks for the 1-1 help!
